Spoofer ABI setup

Game guidesSpoofer Updated23 September 2026

Spoofer [ ABI ] is an HWID spoofer for Arena Breakout: Infinite. It has no menu: it swaps your hardware serial numbers until the PC restarts, so a hardware ban stops applying for that session. It does not lift a ban from the account itself, so you play on a new one.

Requirements

  • Windows 10 or 11 (x64), build 1903 to 25H2
  • A USB flash drive: the launcher runs from it, a virtual one works too
  • Virtualization (VT-x / SVM) enabled in BIOS, Hyper-V disabled
  • A fresh game account: the spoofer can't help an account that is already banned

System requirements

OS Windows 10 - 11 [except 26H2]
Processor Intel / AMD
GPU Nvidia / AMD
Game mode Any
Launchers All
Built-in spoofer Yes

Preparation

The spoofer needs virtualization on and Hyper-V off, while antivirus, Defender and SmartScreen stop the launcher from starting. You only do this once.

Remove third-party antivirus and anti-cheats Kaspersky, Avast, ESET and the like, plus FaceIT and Riot Vanguard, conflict with the loader. They must be uninstalled, not just paused.
  1. Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps (or Control Panel → Programs and Features).

  2. Uninstall any third-party antivirus (Kaspersky, Avast, AVG, ESET, 360, Malwarebytes, etc.). Pausing or disabling is not enough — the antivirus driver stays resident.

  3. Uninstall the FaceIT AC and Riot Vanguard anti-cheats if present — they block third-party software at the kernel level.

    • FaceIT is the CS2 anti-cheat, Vanguard is the Valorant one. If you don't play those games, they are safe to remove.

After removing an antivirus, restart the PC — some of its services only unload after a reboot.

Fully disable Windows Defender The #1 cause of "it won't launch". Disable it for real: manually first, then remove it from startup, reboot, and finish it off with Defender Control.
  1. Step 1. Turn protection off by hand. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings and switch every toggle off:

    • Real-time protection — Off.
    • Cloud-delivered protection — Off.
    • Automatic sample submission — Off.
    • Tamper Protection — Off. Turn this one off first, otherwise the others switch themselves back on.
  2. Step 2. Disable reputation-based protection. In Windows Security → App & browser control → Reputation-based protection → Settings, turn everything off (SmartScreen, potentially-unwanted-app blocking).

  3. Step 3. Remove Defender from startup. Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) → Startup apps tab, find Windows Security notification icon and click Disable.

  4. Step 4. Restart your computer. This is mandatory — some Defender services only unload after a reboot.

  5. Step 5. Finish with Defender Control. Download Defender Control (archive password: r1xon), run it as administrator and click Disable Windows Defender — the tile turns red.

    • If your antivirus deletes the utility itself, protection is still active — go back to step 1. The file ships zipped on purpose so Defender can't wipe it before it's disabled.

Don't skip steps 3–4. "I turned the toggles off but it didn't help" almost always means Defender came back after restart because it was left in startup.

Enable virtualization (VT-x / SVM) The loader needs hardware CPU virtualization. Enabled in BIOS.
  1. Enter BIOS/UEFI and open Advanced → CPU Configuration (naming varies by board).

  2. Enable Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x) on Intel, or SVM Mode on AMD. Save and reboot.

Disable Hyper-V and Windows virtualization Windows' own virtualization features grab the hypervisor and get in the loader's way. Disabled separately from VT-x.
  1. Open Control Panel → Programs → Turn Windows features on or off and uncheck Hyper-V, Virtual Machine Platform and Windows Hypervisor Platform.

  2. Open Command Prompt as administrator, run the command, then reboot:
    bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off

  3. Also turn off Memory Integrity and Application Guard if enabled (see "Disable Core Isolation").

  1. Check your Windows build: press Win + R, type winver and press Enter. Supported builds: 1903 (18362), 1909 (18363), 2004 (19041), 20H2 (19042), 21H1 (19043), 21H2 (19044), 22H2 (19045), 21H2 (22000), 22H2 (22621), 23H2 (22631), 24H2 (26100), 25H2 (26200).

  2. The developer's [CA] FixMainError utility checks whether everything is off: run it as administrator, it shows what is still in the way and switches off what it can. Download it from the Failed to launch #2 topic.

  3. Restart your PC after all of the steps above.

Launch

  1. Fully close the game and its launcher.

  2. If you ran another cheat or spoofer before, restart your PC.

  3. If you use the spoofer together with a cheat, start the cheat first and the spoofer after it. When both come from Crooked, the order doesn't matter.

  4. Download the Launcher and put it on the flash drive. Delete any old copies of the launcher from the PC.

  5. Run the Launcher from the flash drive and register. The launcher has its own accounts, Crooked forum credentials don't work there.

    • The password must be at least 6 characters. Email addresses on Cyrillic domains are not accepted.
    • Log in for the first time with no spoofer running, including other developers' ones. Otherwise the account binds to spoofed serials and after a restart the launcher says Hardware component has changed.
  6. Activate your key: click your nickname in the lower-left corner, paste the key and click Activate. The key's time starts counting from activation.

  7. Select HWID Spoofer Arena Breakout: Infinite and click Launch.

  8. Wait for the Launched button and the Successfully launched message: the spoofer is running. If the launcher shows an error instead, the spoofer did not load. Close the launcher and look the error up in the problems below.

  9. Close the Launcher and unplug the flash drive.

  10. Launch the game.

    • The spoofer lasts until the PC restarts: run it once per Windows session and again after every restart.

If new accounts keep getting hardware-banned, the spoofer alone isn't enough: rename the PC, create a new Windows user and reset the network. Step by step in the problem "The spoofer is running, but the new account still gets banned".

Problems & fixes

The spoofer is running, but the new account still gets banned

First check the basics: the spoofer was started after a restart, the launcher showed Launched, and the account is new rather than one that was already banned.

If all of that holds, the anti-cheat recognises the PC not only by hardware serials but by traces in Windows too: the computer name, the user profile, network settings. For this case the developer requires preparing the system again, strictly in this order:
1. Rename the PC: Settings → System → About → Rename this PC. Restart the PC.
2. Create a new Windows user and sign in with it: Settings → Accounts → Other users → Add account → "I don't have this person's sign-in information" → "Add a user without a Microsoft account". Then use "Change account type" to make it an administrator.
3. Reset the network while signed in as the new user: Win + I → Network & internet → Advanced network settings → Network reset (on Windows 10: Network & Internet → Status → Network reset). You may need to reinstall your VPN client afterwards.
4. Restart the PC, register a new game account and run the spoofer as described above.

If bans still continue after that, in rare cases only a full Windows reinstall helps: a clean one that formats the system drive, not "Reset this PC".

Hardware component has changed

The launcher binds the account to your hardware: 1 launcher account = 1 PC. The error means the serials changed: because of a spoofer, swapped components or a login from another computer.
• If the spoofer is already running: restart the PC so it switches off, log in to the launcher and only then start the spoofer.
• If you changed, added or rearranged components, the binding needs a reset. Send support your launcher account email, the key and what exactly changed in the PC. The developer resets a binding no more than once every two weeks, the key's time spent waiting is not refunded, and an extra reset or a reset after changing PCs is paid on their side.

Failed to launch #1 or #2

Something in the system is blocking the launch, most often security software.
• Uninstall any third-party antivirus instead of just pausing it. Restart the PC and check that none of its services or drivers remain.
• Turn off SmartScreen and Windows Defender.
• Uninstall FACEIT Anti-Cheat and Riot Vanguard together with their leftovers: how to remove.
• Close Discord and YouTube unblocking tools, streaming and screen recording software and any other background apps you don't need.
• Run the [CA] FixMainError utility as administrator (download): it shows what is still in the way.
• Once all of the above is done, turn on a VPN. If it doesn't help, try another one.
• If the error remains: make sure virtualization is on while Hyper-V and Secure Boot are off, and turn off User Account Control (UAC).

The launcher doesn't start or creates an error log

Turn on a VPN and start the launcher again. If that doesn't help, uninstall the antivirus and turn off Defender and SmartScreen, as for the Failed to launch error.

Restart your system and try again Hyper-V

Hyper-V or its components are enabled in Windows.
1. Run the [CA] FixMainError utility from the developer's topic as administrator: it switches off what's needed by itself. If that doesn't help, the same topic has the [CA] CheckParam checker.
2. Manually: Win + R → optionalfeatures and untick Hyper-V, Virtual Machine Platform, Windows Hypervisor Platform, Windows Subsystem for Linux, Windows Sandbox and Microsoft Defender Application Guard. Turn off Core isolation (Windows Security → Device security).
3. In PowerShell as administrator, run one by one:
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard" /v EnableVirtualizationBasedSecurity /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\SystemGuard" /v Enabled /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity" /v Enabled /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
dism.exe /online /disable-feature /featurename:Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux
dism.exe /online /disable-feature /featurename:VirtualMachinePlatform
dism.exe /online /disable-feature /featurename:Microsoft-Hyper-V-All
Restart the PC.
4. On Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2 this must be followed by a Microsoft tool: download the Device Guard and Credential Guard hardware readiness tool and unzip it. In PowerShell as administrator go to its folder (cd path_to_folder), run Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Scope Process, then .\DG_Readiness_Tool_v3.6.ps1 -Disable (use your version number if it differs). Restart; if Windows asks for confirmation during boot (for example F3), confirm.
5. After the restart run bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off once more and restart. If the error is still there, run Disable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Hyper-V-Hypervisor and restart again.

Black screen in game

Launch the game through the official Arena Breakout launcher, not through Steam.

Your IP address has been blocked

Three failed launcher logins block your IP for 15 minutes. Wait 15 minutes and enter your email and password carefully, or recover the password. The same error appears when logging in from another PC: a launcher account only works on the computer it is bound to.

Failed to launch #4

• Turn off Windows test mode if it's on: Command Prompt as administrator → bcdedit /set testsigning off, then restart.
• Enable the Secondary Logon service: Win + R → services.msc → right-click the service → Properties → Startup type Automatic → OK.
• Uninstall the antivirus, turn off SmartScreen and Defender, remove FACEIT and Vanguard with their leftovers.
• Close MSI Afterburner and Discord and YouTube unblocking tools.
• Turn on a VPN, and if your ISP blocks access, change DNS.

Please, enable Vt-x in BIOS

Hardware virtualization is off. Enter BIOS and enable Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x) on Intel or SVM Mode on AMD, save the settings and restart.

Please, disable Secure boot in BIOS

Enter BIOS, find Secure Boot (usually under Boot, Security or System Configuration), set it to Disabled, save and restart.

Please, change boot mode to UEFI in BIOS

The PC boots in Legacy mode, UEFI is required.
1. In Command Prompt as administrator run mbr2gpt.exe /convert /allowfullOS: the system drive switches to GPT partitioning.
2. Turn the PC off, enter BIOS (usually Del, sometimes F2) and under Boot set Storage Boot Option and Other PCI devices to UEFI. Save and boot.
If your board names these options differently, search for "your board model legacy to UEFI".

Unsupported OS version

Your Windows build is not supported. Builds 1903 to 25H2 work; check yours via Win + R → winver. If an update to a supported version is available, install it; if not, reinstall Windows on a supported build.

HWID banned (launcher error)

This is a launcher error, not an in-game ban: it could not read your hardware data for the binding.
1. Enable the Windows Management Instrumentation service: Win + R → services.msc → right-click the service → Properties → Startup type Automatic → OK, then right-click → Start. Restart the PC.
2. If that doesn't help, open Command Prompt, run wmic baseboard and send a screenshot to support.
If Windows itself is broken, only repairing or reinstalling it helps. Less often the developer has blocked the launcher account, which support can also check.

Key not found or has already been activated

The key was mistyped or is already activated. Copy it again without spaces at the ends. If the error repeats, contact support and include the key.

Activation of this key is currently not available

The spoofer is being updated, and key activation is closed until it's done. Wait for the update and activate the key again: the key's time counts from activation, so waiting doesn't use it up.

… has been forcefully terminated!

The spoofer's launcher closed the game process because it was open when the game started. Close the Launcher before starting the game and don't open it while the game or its launcher is running.

Error vcruntime140.dll

System libraries are missing. Install the Visual C++ Redistributable and DirectX, then restart the PC.

ContentAccessDenied or OperationCanceledError

The launcher can't reach its server. Turn on a VPN (you can switch it off before playing once the spoofer has started), change DNS, or restart the PC and the router.

Advanced setup — only if it still won’t launch

Disable Secure Boot Secure Boot stops the loader from starting. Check the status first, then disable it in BIOS if needed.
  1. Check the status: press Win+R, type msinfo32, and in System Summary find Secure Boot State. If it reads Off or Unsupported — you're set, skip the rest.

  2. If it's On — enter BIOS/UEFI (tap Del, F2 or F10 while the PC boots — depends on the motherboard).

  3. Find Boot or Security → Secure Boot and set it to Disabled. Save (usually F10) and reboot.

    • If Secure Boot is greyed out, set a Supervisor Password under Security first — that unlocks the option. You can remove the password afterwards.
Disable Core Isolation Memory Integrity blocks the driver from loading. Takes a minute to switch off.
  1. Open Windows Security → Device security → Core isolation details.

  2. Turn off Memory Integrity and restart the PC.

Disk in GPT layout If the loader says "Unsupported firmware", the system disk is MBR and needs converting to GPT.
  1. Check the layout: Win+R → diskmgmt.msc, right-click the system disk → Properties → Volumes → Partition style. It should read GUID (GPT).

  2. If it's MBR, convert without data loss: admin Command Prompt, run mbr2gpt /convert /allowfullOS. After converting, switch the BIOS boot mode to UEFI.

Back up anything important before converting. It usually goes smoothly, but a disk is a disk.

Use a VPN for download and activation CIS ISPs often block the activation servers. A VPN is needed while downloading the loader, activating the key and injecting — you can turn it off before joining a match.
  1. Use a full VPN (an app that routes all traffic), not a browser proxy, VLESS or extension — half the support tickets come from exactly this.

  2. Turn the VPN on before downloading the loader and activating the key. If something won't load, switch country (Europe or the US usually work).

  3. After a successful inject you can turn the VPN off before the match to avoid extra ping.

A VPN fixes most endless-loading and "key won't activate" problems.

Update Visual C++ and DirectX Up-to-date runtimes keep the loader and overlay from crashing at start.
  1. Install Visual C++ Redistributable x64 and restart the PC.

  2. Update DirectX if you haven't in a while.

FAQ

Where do I get the key after payment?

The key arrives instantly after payment — it appears on the order page and lands in your email, and if Telegram is linked to your account, our bot sends a copy too. This guide opens from there as well.

Will the spoofer lift the ban from my account?

No. The spoofer only removes the hardware ban, and only while it is running: after a PC restart the real serials come back. A banned account stays banned, so play on a new one. The developer only guarantees the spoofer on an account that has never been banned before.

Do I need to run the spoofer every time?

Once per Windows session. The spoofer lasts until the PC restarts, after which the real serials return and you run it again before playing. There's no need to run it twice without a restart.

In what order do I start the spoofer and a cheat?

Restart the PC, start the cheat, then the spoofer. If both products are from Crooked, the order doesn't matter. Officially the developer only guarantees compatibility with their own products, so if something won't start with a particular cheat, contact support.

Can I use the key on two PCs?

No. On the first login the launcher account binds to the computer, and on another PC the launcher answers Hardware component has changed. Moving to a new PC needs a binding reset through support.

Still stuck?

Run R1XON Checker first — it pinpoints most launch problems in 30 seconds. If it still fails, attach the checker report to your support ticket and we’ll sort it out fast.
