Preparation
Remove third-party antivirus and anti-cheats Kaspersky, Avast, ESET and the like, plus FaceIT and Riot Vanguard, conflict with the loader. They must be uninstalled, not just paused.

Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps (or Control Panel → Programs and Features).

Uninstall any third-party antivirus (Kaspersky, Avast, AVG, ESET, 360, Malwarebytes, etc.). Pausing or disabling is not enough — the antivirus driver stays resident.

Uninstall the FaceIT AC and Riot Vanguard anti-cheats if present — they block third-party software at the kernel level.
- FaceIT is the CS2 anti-cheat, Vanguard is the Valorant one. If you don't play those games, they are safe to remove.
After removing an antivirus, restart the PC — some of its services only unload after a reboot.
Fully disable Windows Defender The #1 cause of "it won't launch". Disable it for real: manually first, then remove it from startup, reboot, and finish it off with Defender Control.

Step 1. Turn protection off by hand. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings and switch every toggle off:
- Real-time protection — Off.
- Cloud-delivered protection — Off.
- Automatic sample submission — Off.
- Tamper Protection — Off. Turn this one off first, otherwise the others switch themselves back on.

Step 2. Disable reputation-based protection. In Windows Security → App & browser control → Reputation-based protection → Settings, turn everything off (SmartScreen, potentially-unwanted-app blocking).

Step 3. Remove Defender from startup. Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) → Startup apps tab, find Windows Security notification icon and click Disable.

Step 4. Restart your computer. This is mandatory — some Defender services only unload after a reboot.

Step 5. Finish with Defender Control. Download Defender Control (archive password: r1xon), run it as administrator and click Disable Windows Defender — the tile turns red.
- If your antivirus deletes the utility itself, protection is still active — go back to step 1. The file ships zipped on purpose so Defender can't wipe it before it's disabled.
Don't skip steps 3–4. "I turned the toggles off but it didn't help" almost always means Defender came back after restart because it was left in startup.
Disable Secure Boot Secure Boot stops the loader from starting. Check the status first, then disable it in BIOS if needed.

Check the status: press Win+R, type msinfo32, and in System Summary find Secure Boot State. If it reads Off or Unsupported — you're set, skip the rest.

If it's On — enter BIOS/UEFI (tap Del, F2 or F10 while the PC boots — depends on the motherboard).

Find Boot or Security → Secure Boot and set it to Disabled. Save (usually F10) and reboot.
- If Secure Boot is greyed out, set a Supervisor Password under Security first — that unlocks the option. You can remove the password afterwards.
Disk in GPT layout If the loader says "Unsupported firmware", the system disk is MBR and needs converting to GPT.

Check the layout: Win+R → diskmgmt.msc, right-click the system disk → Properties → Volumes → Partition style. It should read GUID (GPT).

If it's MBR, convert without data loss: admin Command Prompt, run mbr2gpt /convert /allowfullOS. After converting, switch the BIOS boot mode to UEFI.
Back up anything important before converting. It usually goes smoothly, but a disk is a disk.
Sync Windows time A wrong system clock breaks key authorization against the license server.

Open Settings → Time & language → Date & time, enable Set time automatically and click Sync now.
Launch

Install the SteelSeries GG overlay from https://steelseries.com/gg/download/ — the cheat will not start without it

Download the loader from https://undetect.net/loader_bleak and prepare the PC: disable Secure Boot and TPM in BIOS, turn off Windows Defender, remove antiviruses and anti-cheats (FaceIT, Vanguard, Avast, 360)

Run the loader as administrator, paste the key and press Inject — your PC will reboot at this step

After the reboot run SteelSeries as administrator, bind Volume Up to the F7 key and turn Moments off

Press F7 to activate the overlay, then run the loader as administrator again, enter the key and press Inject

Launch the game — the cheat opens by itself. The menu is opened with the Insert or Home key
Problems & fixes
The loader does not start or closes immediately
The loader must be run as administrator — the first time and every time after. If that does not help, Windows Defender or a third-party antivirus is to blame: turn real-time protection off completely and uninstall antivirus software.
The cheat does not open in the game, the menu never appears
Almost always the overlay is not working. Rust products use SteelSeries GG: it must run as administrator, Volume Up must be bound to F7, and Moments must be off. ARC Raiders uses Discord as the overlay: run it as administrator too and make sure Game Overlay is enabled in its settings.
The PC rebooted after the first Inject — is that normal?
Yes, the Rust products inject in two stages. After the reboot you must run the loader again as administrator, enter the key and press Inject a second time — only then does the cheat load. Activate the overlay with F7 before that.
The menu does not open with Insert
Bleak has two menu keys — Insert and Home. Try the second one. In ARC Raiders the menu does not open instantly: press F4 in the game main menu first, then again in the match, and the menu shows up by itself in 5-10 seconds.
The game or the loader crashes on start
Close every other overlay — GeForce Experience, MSI Afterburner, RivaTuner, the Steam overlay — and do not run OBS Studio. They conflict with the overlay the cheat works through.
The loader rejects the key
Paste the key from the clipboard without stray spaces and make sure it belongs to the right product: Rust and ARC Raiders keys are not interchangeable. If the key is already activated on another PC, contact support — the binding is released manually.
Do I need to disable Secure Boot
For the Rust products — yes, together with TPM; the BIOS must be in UEFI mode and the disk in GPT layout. For ARC Raiders none of this is needed: it works with Secure Boot enabled, and both the disk layout and BIOS mode can be anything.
ARC Raiders: the cheat does not load even though Discord is running
Additionally disable VBS (virtualization-based security) and Core Isolation in Windows Security. They stop the loader from attaching, and it looks like nothing happens after Inject.
