Bleak setup for PUBG
Bleak for PUBG runs through the Discord overlay. Preparation is done once, Secure Boot and TPM stay as they are, and after that a launch takes a couple of minutes: Discord, the loader, the key and F4 in the game.

- Windows 10 or 11 (x64), builds 2004–26H1
- PUBG from Steam
- Discord — it serves as the overlay, without it the menu will not appear
- Secure Boot and TPM can stay on, any BIOS and disk layout
- Administrator rights on the PC
System requirements
Preparation
Preparation is done once: Discord as the overlay, Defender, VBS and Core Isolation off. Antiviruses and other anti-cheats (FaceIT, Vanguard, 360, Avast) must be removed.
Remove third-party antivirus and anti-cheats Kaspersky, Avast, ESET and the like, plus FaceIT and Riot Vanguard, conflict with the loader. They must be uninstalled, not just paused.

Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps (or Control Panel → Programs and Features).

Uninstall any third-party antivirus (Kaspersky, Avast, AVG, ESET, 360, Malwarebytes, etc.). Pausing or disabling is not enough — the antivirus driver stays resident.

Uninstall the FaceIT AC and Riot Vanguard anti-cheats if present — they block third-party software at the kernel level.
- FaceIT is the CS2 anti-cheat, Vanguard is the Valorant one. If you don't play those games, they are safe to remove.
After removing an antivirus, restart the PC — some of its services only unload after a reboot.
Fully disable Windows Defender The #1 cause of "it won't launch". Disable it for real: manually first, then remove it from startup, reboot, and finish it off with Defender Control.

Step 1. Turn protection off by hand. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings and switch every toggle off:
- Real-time protection — Off.
- Cloud-delivered protection — Off.
- Automatic sample submission — Off.
- Tamper Protection — Off. Turn this one off first, otherwise the others switch themselves back on.

Step 2. Disable reputation-based protection. In Windows Security → App & browser control → Reputation-based protection → Settings, turn everything off (SmartScreen, potentially-unwanted-app blocking).

Step 3. Remove Defender from startup. Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) → Startup apps tab, find Windows Security notification icon and click Disable.

Step 4. Restart your computer. This is mandatory — some Defender services only unload after a reboot.

Step 5. Finish with Defender Control. Download Defender Control (archive password: r1xon), run it as administrator and click Disable Windows Defender — the tile turns red.
- If your antivirus deletes the utility itself, protection is still active — go back to step 1. The file ships zipped on purpose so Defender can't wipe it before it's disabled.
Don't skip steps 3–4. "I turned the toggles off but it didn't help" almost always means Defender came back after restart because it was left in startup.
Disable Core Isolation Memory Integrity blocks the driver from loading. Takes a minute to switch off.

Open Windows Security → Device security → Core isolation details.

Turn off Memory Integrity and restart the PC.
Sync Windows time A wrong system clock breaks key authorization against the license server.

Open Settings → Time & language → Date & time, enable Set time automatically and click Sync now.

Install Discord from discord.com/download

Close Discord and run it as administrator — every time from now on

In Discord settings open Game Overlay

Turn on Enable overlay and Enable interactive overlay areas
Launch

Start Discord as administrator

Download the loader with the button at the top of the page and run it as administrator

Enter the key and press Inject — PUBG starts by itself

In the game's main menu check that the Discord overlay is applied: Discord settings show the game as active now

If the Discord badge shows in the top-left corner of the game, the overlay works and you can skip the settings

Press F4 and wait 5–10 seconds — the menu appears by itself

After that the menu opens and closes with Insert or Home
Problems & fixes
The loader does not start or closes right away
The loader only runs as administrator — the first time and every time after. If that does not help, Windows Defender or a third-party antivirus is blocking it: turn protection off using the guide below and add the loader folder to exclusions.
The menu does not appear after F4
It is almost always the Discord overlay. Discord must be running as administrator, and Game Overlay must be on and applied to PUBG in its settings. Check that the Discord badge shows in the top-left corner of the game, press F4 and wait 5–10 seconds. After that the menu is called with Insert or Home.
The cheat does not load even though Discord is running
Turn off VBS and Core Isolation in Windows Security — they keep the loader from attaching — and restart the PC. The Core Isolation guide is in the preparation above.
The game or the loader crashes on start
Close all other overlays — GeForce Experience, MSI Afterburner, RivaTuner, the Steam overlay — and do not run OBS Studio. They conflict with the Discord overlay.
The loader does not accept the key
Paste the key by copying, with no spaces around it, and check it is for the right product: keys for different Bleak games are not interchangeable. If the key still fails, write to our support.

Which key opens the menu?
Insert or Home — Bleak has two. The first time after launch, press F4 in the game and wait 5–10 seconds; the menu appears by itself.
Do I need to turn off Secure Boot and TPM?
No. Bleak for PUBG works with Secure Boot and TPM on, any BIOS and disk layout. Only Windows Defender, VBS and Core Isolation are turned off.
Do I have to check the overlay in Discord every time?
No. If the Discord overlay badge shows in the top-left corner of the game, you can press F4 right away.
Is the menu available in Russian?
Yes, the menu switches between English and Russian, item names included.
